Hi all,I have been desperately looking for information on the MJoy (USB joystick interface) project. The site of the author www.mindaugas.com/projects/MJoy/ appears to be down. Can anyone point me to an alternative link?I recall that the schematic(s) and the latest version of the MJoy code were freely downloadable, so if anybody could email them to me, it would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advanceAntony

Respond (to my email, of course, not through here) with your email address and I'll send it you.

Sorry, got a little confused and didnt read the names.Sure send me the schematics, but without the hex, you will probably be wasting your time in trying to biuld the device. I would try and get the hex first.Unfortunately I dont have it, I was going to build it but Mindaugas convinced me to go with the 16 so didnt bother keeping any of that info.Jon

Hi,yeah got a shock when found the site down as I had lost both the MJoy and the MJoy16 info in a formatting stuff up :-( . Have previously built a MJoy 6 axis for trim and throttle and it works well and wanted to build an 8 axis. Found a site that archives web sites through a forum in sukhoi.ru written by Sokol1_Br http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...cial%26hs%3DDhLand managed to get all the files. Here are the 2 links posted there.http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.mindaugas.com (this link doen't post well in HTML use enabled)http://web.archive.org/web/20070515133900/.../projects/MJoy/Some of the links are corrupted but if you try different snapshot dates you can find them pretty quickly. Also for the original MJoy 6 axis, software build 4 (v1.2), if you want to modify the hex file so the joystick appears 2nd or last in available USB controllers, you modify the next 2 bytes starting on line 0010A0. In v1.2 hex they are set at 00 00 which means they cause the USB controller to be 1st default controller in XP. (see .jpg )You can find the vendor ID of your joysticks by going to control panel/system/device manager/Human Interface Devices, expand it and right click on your usb HID, select properties and then details tab. The Device Instance Id will tell you USBVID_xxxx , the xxxx will tell you the number you have to be < or > than (note they are in Hexadecimal)
