March 30, 200818 yr Hi There:I'm interested in buying a digital input USB controller in order to wire a switch I purchased to activate the landing gear in my Cessna 182RG cockpit setup. I have bought a nice switch to be used as landing gear switch. The switch works like the real switch on many GA planes. The handle must be pulled out and engaged either up (for gear up) or down (for gear down). Once it is set up or down, the handle can not be moved unless it is pulled out and either set in the up or down position.I'm not sure where to buy such a device that will not cost me an arm and a leg. Simkits has one that can hook up to 32 switches or pushbuttons. It costs 99.50 Euros ($157 USD). That's too expensive for me. Click on the link below to see it.http://www.simkits.com/product.php?prodid=605 Ideally, I'd like to find a supplier in the U.S. if possible. I'd like to wire this switch into FS9 and/or FSX and I don't want to start soldering and write programs for it (this is why the Simkit board is so nice. You just plug it in and that's it! FS recognizes it as another controller).Any suggestions? Thanks.Gianluca

May 7, 200818 yr Hi Another option is to buy a cheap usb gamepad ($10 or so) and pull it to bits. I have done this as part of my setup, two of the 12 buttons are now the up & down switches for my undercarriage lever..CheersJames
