Project Magenta - multiple PM applications on one PC/screen

Featured Replies

Hi,Im in the process of exploring possibilities for improving the realism of my current setup. In connection with this I plan a gradual transition from my current one FS PC setup with only ActiveSky and Squawkbox offloaded to a laptop, to an intermediate solution with PM software for all, and further with a planned implementation of some of the PM software withcertain hardware. Havent quite decided what yet.One thing I picked up in PMs manual was the fact that they advise against running several of their applications on one PC, with the argument that only one application could be active at any one time, and only this receiving accelerated graphics. As I see it there are the following PM visual applications would be initiated for the A320:PFD/ND (display only)EICARS Low/Upper (display only)CDU/MCDU (display/key input)MCP (display/key input)PMSystems (display/key input)This would require 5 PCs unless these can be combined.Any experience with combining these applications to fewer PCs?RegardsStephen

Hi Stephen,I run my setup with 3 pcs:1 - FS/RC4/Activesky2 - PM Glass Cockpit & MCP3 - PM Systems & CDUSeems to work ok so far although I am still building but have run some tests...CheersMike
