Quick question to you all...Does having McAfee virus scan running in the background cause MSFS2002 to crash. Recently all my flights are crashing by freezing up either with or without a loud jammed noise. If my virus scanner should'nt cause the sim to crash, does anybody know of other applications or software that would cause a crash (especially so often?). It's only started happening post the scanner install....but then again, I have also loaded other games....Many thanks in advanceMatt

I don't have any problem with McAfee causine MSFS to crash, but it sure drags the framerates way down. The same thing happens in other applications and games. I always disable it when I am offline.Ray

I leave it running all the time and have no problems at all. Frame rates stay the same, online flying or offline flying.Ed
