August 31, 200223 yr Has anybody found a way to kill the sound (apart from turning off the speakers) when you hit "Pause" -- it's a great sound but not when I am trying to think!!! :)Barry
August 31, 200223 yr Alt-Tab back to your desktop. Switching the current task also mutes the sound. The sound runs as a separate thread along with the rest of the panel so it doesn't shut off when FS2k2 pauses.

It still says Sound off but the engine roar continues. I love the Dash-8 sounds, in my opinion the best in any aircraft (commercial or freeware), but when flying online with RogerWilco it's hard to hear the controllers over the Dash-8. It would be great if there was a way to lower or temporarily mute the engine sounds.Take care,
