transcargo virtual back in operation!

Recommended Posts

We're happy to anounce that the website has been restored and the new network and system is ready. Here a few changes in the company asset and business plan. NEW BASESTransCargo has decided to open 2 more bases in Torondo Pearson and Singapore Changi. This will allow a more flexible scheduling and a better coverage worldwide, more flights and more destinations.Pilots are not requested to choose a base for the time being and are free to fly thoughout the network at their own discrection. In the future bases might become indipendent according to operational requirements. NEW AIRCRAFTSOne A300B4-200F has been delivered and is scheduled for short-medium haul flights.Being all pilots DC-8 type rated, whoever wants to be transfered on A300 fleet should send a written request to Flight Operations.Delivery of B727-200F is expected before the end of July and will give another boost to the short and medium haul. NEW PROCEDURESThe new scheduling system allows pilots to chose freely their flights and rotations with no more pre scheduled rotations.Pilots can decide if they want to depart from their homebase and make their own path or take any single flight out of the scheduling.New SOPs are issued mainly regarding planning and scheduling. We kindly request you to go through the procedures as a few minor changes have been made.Pilots can now plan on a technical (refuelling) stop in order to take all the requested payload from departure to destination without exceeding max structrural weights. When doing so the callsign will be the same for all sectors and only ONE pirep has to be filed with the total of BLOCK TIME and FUEL CONSUMPTION.Pilots in Command are as well free to disembark payload due to max allowed weights in order to fly the sector without a stop. NORTHWEST DIVISIONThe non proficent Northwest division has merged with TransCargo core in order to operate more marketable flights with DC-3 & DC-6 mainly in the North American continent and from the Toronto Pearson base.Untill further notice all TNG pilots are free to operate DC-3 & DC-6 flights according to the new SOPs. FINANCIAL ASSETTransCargo with warranty from stockholders has payed all operational expenses for year 2005 getting a final balance of around -14000000V$.The goal is to try and recover the most of it within the end of year 2005.This will require a big comeback and some new enrollments. Hoping you will all keep supporting TransCargo in this hard relaunch we invite you to spread out the voice though your Simming community in order to envolve more simmers, looking forward to the growth of TransCargo Virtual Airlines. We wish you happy landings and a lot of fun in the Vskies....keep up the good work!
