Anyone playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 should be happy to know that there is an EA Sports Online (EASO) Club exclusively for fly-va pilots and crew to enjoy a bit of cybergolf. With the game due to be in worldwide release by the end of next week (it's already out in Europe and the USA), we won't be starting any events until January. Like the now-defunct VCGA Tour, an enterprise that I ran for 3 years, the Fly VA Golf Club events schedule will resemble that of real life pro & elite amateur events that take place on or near the stock golf courses in the game. Our first event will not be until January, so that those who may get the game as a holiday gift may participate. Our first event will take place at The National Golf Club in Victoria (Australia); I shall provide a firmer date later on. Our first test event will take place from November 16-19th at the Emerald Dragon fantasy course, set in Japan. In keeping with my penchant for realism, this coincides with the Dunlop Phoenix Championship on the JPGA Tour. Our official competitive season will begin in January. Our first exhibition event has been set on EASO. The tournament name is "Fly-VA Pilots." The password is "takeoff" (this is not the Club membership password). Those who have TW07 are encouraged to participate. Like all Fly-VA Golf Club events, this one is at the Novice level.
