New UVA Flight Planning and Dispatch Release ToolChicago, February 12, 2007 -- United Virtual Airlines (UVA) President David Klain today announced implementation of the latest update to the UVA Flight Planning tool, version 2.5. This update provides for the generation of a Dispatch Release and includes full flight data on all equipment operated by United Virtual Airlines. Simultaneously with release of this upgrade in realism, the same flight planning and dispatch release tool is available in the UVA automated Pilot Center, where members reserve flights. After reserving a flight, pilots may simply click on the appropriate button to activate the online planner and dispatch release tool.Whether using the standalone or online planner, fuel, weight and VSpeed calculations are automatically performed to ensure UVA members enjoy more realistic operations with every aircraft in UVA's fleet.
