I like the new look...
Nor do I. Too much time and mouse clicks to navigate.

I don't see why not.

Throttletek Spoiler Binding
Mine works fine using FSUIPC for bindings. I find MSFS control bindings not up to most add on hardware.

How to get off a submarine.
Looks like a harbor pilot making his exit. More normally, when and underway and disembaking pax, my memory tells me a ramp (with rollers to compensate for roll) would be used.

Still want to be a sailor?
Was aboard SARA for the '67 MED cruise return. North of Bermuda, had 50 ft seas, 80 kt constant winds and not a cloud in the sky. Peeled the port and starboard catwalks back from the bow like a banana for about 100 ft, I was going plus\minus 50 lbs in my stateroom and even got wet when I went up to the signal bridge. Was also great fun standing watch on the nav bridge while we made 1.5 nm over ground in 3 days. Small boys with us had it worse. They would crest a wave, roll into the trough and even the TACAN ball would disappear from view from SARA's bridge.

NTSB safety warning about Boeing 737Max & Airbus A320neo.
Typical news media hysteria tying aircraft manufacturers to any issue.

Rude UK waypoint names to be changed
I wonder what these people would do if they encountered words which are actually offensive. Heart attack?

Delta A350 shears off tail of Endeavor Air CRJ900 at Atlanta
Yep, A350. Video over at pprune shows the hit. Wonder why the RJ was stopped at that location.

Upgrade to 14700k worth it?
"As things stand now (the Intel mess) I'd suggest "no"." With the new bios updates and extended warranty that may be a bit short sighted. The 14700K is perhaps the best upgrade path now available for Intel users. It's reviewed as providing the most "bank for the buck" and approaches the 14900K in gaming.

PSA: Disclose When You're Given a Free Copy of Payware to Review
After reading the FTC document, I'd say that assumptions by readers of material covered by the ruling which does not contain the mandated disclosure would be no defense. Jim Harnes

IFly 737 Autopilot Problems
There is no "problem" with the iFly 737NG A/P. In order to engage the A/P, the aircraft must be properly trimmed and no pressure/spikes from a controller or input from duplicate key assignments. Jim Harnes

Using a Matrox Box for FSX Multi Monitors
Jim Harnes replied to Markrem's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcOne thing to remember about Nvidia Surround: if the three monitors are not exacly alike in all respects, the settings to enable surround will not hold and you'll have to reconfigure each time the pc boots. For example, I have three 22 inch 16X10 monitors each 1680 X 1050, same brand and model and a GTX770 card. However, two monitors are 61 Hz and one is 60 Hz, which rquires a custom .inf for Nvida surround to work. That's fine, but the Nvidia software will not maintain 5040 X 1050 and imposes it's own suggested, unwanted and visually not satisfactory, resolution each time the computer boots. So I'm back to the TH2G, which does maintain 5040 X 1650 at all times. Best, Jim Harnes
