I like the new look...

Featured Replies

Noticed earlier that avsim was offline due to maintenance. Now that is back online with a new look I can say that I really like it.

Congratulations on the new look Avsim.

Also I see that there is an option for a dark theme on the bottom left. Nice

Who doesn't like a new car smell? Even if this isn't a car.

As one of the senior (age-wise) members...I'm totally confused by it. Probably need some time before the grey matter gets in tune with this new Avsim.

Is it just me or does everything seem snappier?

Sorry, but I really don't like the new look and format. That's just me.

On the bottom of the page there is an ad that goes across the whole page. There is a X to close it but it does not close, why?? When in the library page this ad blocks the "next page" button.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see what I post in a pic. You have your choice of light or dark mode!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

The threads seem all jumbled up together now. Can't they put a carriage return between them?

I guess I'll learn to like it, just like I did with that pet hornet I had in the 3rd grade.

No, bite thy tongue! I'm GenX through-and-through. Maybe the last group to take a typing class in High School...last to read a clock...last to read cursive...

I think upon second load of the site there is now space between things. Don't know what happened there.

As for me, it has become inconvenient. I cannot find the 'Mark site as read' button; in the previous interface it was possible to mark a section as read by clicking on the icon of that section.

Now this cannot be done.

It is very unfortunate that it is so, but this is only my personal view.

Click your profile name on the top right, a drop-down menu will show, there you have the "Mark all content as read" now.
Took me a while to find out where they hidden it.
Also, on top of the sub-forum you choose there is a "Mark forum as read button". Right side of the page counter.

I'm still looking for the option to collapse the topics, hiding the text on the first post below the topic title. Now my scroll finger starts to hurt...

Bug: Couldn't get the cursor out of a quote when editing it...
