I just signed up to this Livewire Airlines VA, did a flight, now I can't log in...after the homepage everything is Page Cannot Be Displayed error. Anyone know what is up with these guys? If not..anyone know of a friendly laidback VA I could join? Mostly looking at the smaller planes, rather then the big iron.Thank you,Robert

Their site has been down this weekend. It does not happen very often, but it does happen.They are a pretty good VA. Friendly, laid back, lots of variety, and a fairly unique setup (financial system, mock corporation). There has been some trouble over the last couple of weeks since the CEO has taken a leave of absence and a hacker messed with some of the financial system.The only major drawback to this VA, IMO, is that they do not fly on VATSIM (they have their own FSHost server). The ATC is a bit "to laid back" (proper procedures are not expected).I used to be very active there (not so much any more as I have been flying more with AVA and BAW on VATSIM). It was quite fun a times, so I hope they can get all of the VA features back online again (one of them was ownership shares of fleet aircraft that paid you when other pilots flew your flights). Things like that have not been working for a while.Anyway, it is a good VA if that's what you want. They will work out their problems and be back up to speed eventually. Just wish they would fly on VATSIM (with SB3 coming out and all -- the more traffic the better).

good VA except for the ######in in the Forums

I don't find all that much #### goes on - unless it's in one of the division forums that I don't read. There was a lot of debate about the hacker, but overall the forums are pretty laid back, and informative where needed as well.Sadly it is down at the moment, if I remember correctly, Jon is overseas at the moment, so not sure if he's in full knowledge of what has happened, and may have problems dealing with the problem.Of course, this could be entirely wrong - just giving some thoughts :)Wish they would hurry up back though - I need somewhere with an active forum - sets them apart from most other VA's in that respect if you ask me.I've belonged to a couple of high profile VA's before, and each time found myself returning to LW.One that I really enjoyed, their software had bugs, and wouldn't work on my machine - and a few other peoples, and because I couldn't file a flight (flights could only be filed via their program) I passed the deadline of time between flights, and I was removed.
