August 25, 200520 yr I start FS9 select the PMDG 737Ng-600,go to the airport of choice, the engines are running. I then connect to a multiplayer session. However, after I am connected to the multiplayer session, the engines either shut down, or the throttel levers are out of synic. When I move the throttle lever on the joy stick, only the left throttle lever moves.I find that I have to select the default Boeing 737, which has the engines running, and the throttles in syinc. I then switch back to the PMDG, and then most of the time everything is OK. The engines are on and the throttle leveres are in sync.I cannot use Ctrl + E to start the engines whicle in the multiplayer session since I use the Ctrl key to speak (Teamspeak). Holding down the Ctrl key opens my mike and screwseverone else up who is on the multiplayer session. Can anyone give me an idea how to correct this problem, or is this something that I have to deal with because I have an add on aircraft?ThanksStanner
August 25, 200520 yr First and foremost, switch your push to talk button in Teamspeak. This will avoid any conflicts with FS. For example, if you happen to be talking on Teamspeak and press any other buttons to activate an FS feature, you will actually be sending ctrl+whatever to FS.I have set my TS PTT to the F12 key. It is one that I don't use for other features.Let us know how you make out. My guess is it is just a conflict with your PTT assignment.Chuck Canada
August 26, 200520 yr Chuck,I do not recall pressing any other FS9 keys while speaking on Teamspeak. I do however go to Teamspeak initially to get the correct frequency and password. This means I am speaking on Teamspeak, but I am not yet connected to the multiplayer server. After I do this, I then load FS9, and then connect to the multiplayer server. It is only after I am connected that I use Teamspeak to get a radio check. However, the problem occurs after I connect on the server but before I speak on Teamspeak on the multiplayer server. I think it has to do with my PMDG aircraft, since I do not have this problem with my other add on aircraft in the multiplayer session.ThanksStanner
August 26, 200520 yr I just tried a multiplayer connect as you do it and had no problems keeping the engines burning after the connect. Are you starting from a cold dark cockpit or do you load the PMDG with the engines running? I always start cold and dark. The only switch that is turned on when I load a PMDG is the avionics switch, since the NG doesn't have one! Wish I could help out more.ChuckCanada
August 26, 200520 yr Chuck,I start with the engines running, and not shut down. I thank you for your help.Stanner
