Why hardware related are OK but other posts are not?

<>More of my theories! I have found that folks do what makes sense to them pretty darn naturally. As long as a person has postive intentions, then the "natural" path for them will produce the least stress and results will be most enjoyed. In my opinion, the hardware forum receives exactly the right amount of attention, because it receives whatever attention is "natural" for it to receive. When the "natural" attention drops below some cost point, then the right thing to do would be to close it, not force "un-natural" attention to it.<>Of course, that's because its not part of your natural notions. I happen to be the proud owner of a Sparkel power supply cuz one of the folks I read online recommended it to me. That was in this forum and the person was YOU.....it works. Within my nature. I never even knew that a hardware forum existed for quite some time, and yet I have a good power source. If you "try harder to rectify", I suspect you will be driving yourself un-naturally, stress inducing behavior....perhaps a valid endeavor, but I hope you take it on for valid reasons..better reasons than "just because".Cheers,Bob B

"I'm actually in LOVE WITH TOM!But I'm still quite fond of you too, Bob.Good lord... I need sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.Elrond (the tergiversate! )"I thought you were 1) in Love with me and what ever is a tergiversate?WOW I am sure Glad I Came to this Forum lol you never know what you will find !Anniette xxxxxxxxxBob you can say I am like Elrond because I am a little Elvish ;)

Hi Anniette, I'm only 1/3 of the way thru the Hobbit and I represent the .01% of the population who has never read it before....so understanding the true nature of Elond and being a little Elvish is reduced to a casual sense that it involves 1's 0's, and the love of the common man. Pleased to know you identify with the above....Now let me read on...perhaps the notion of tergiversate will become apparent....for a bit it appeared to be a puzzle like you see in the sunday paper...words are appearing from the jumble...lets see tergiversate...tegivearats something....I don't know I don't really give a rats tergiversate about it....LOL...more fun than a barrel of tergiversatesAu revoiur mon cherie..B

Bob! :-lolSeriously, I like that philosophy quite a lot... Its akin to how I try to deal with customers as well. I've learned through the years what most used Car salesmen fail to see in the beginning: the hard sell may net a few big fish, but over time the return rate is far less than what a determined but thoughtful salesman will see. A "natural" sell on the true merits of one thing over another gains much more in the long run than a hard sell on preconceived point lists which usually don't have much to do with reality. Customers aren't stupid and realize this as well. An average "Natural" salesman will always do much better in the long run than a great but slick salesman - even when they both don't know it.And of course that philosophy works wonders in ones love life, friendships, and every other aspect of life. Its interesting how hard we fight against what seems to be so obvious at times, however. So, I'll follow your sage advice here as well... No pushing to the hardware forum from me. :-)Take care,Elrondhttp://members.rogers.com/eelvish/Boycott-RIAA.gif]"A musician without the RIAA, is like a fish without a bicycle."[/font://http://members.rogers.com/eelvish/B...cle."[/b][/font

LOL!You're in rare form today, Bob... Tegivearats **s is the whole point!:-)Which brings me to my parents (huh?). If they decided not tegivearats and named me Sue instead of Elrond, we wouldn't be having this strange and wonderful conversation. Thanks Mom.Elrond (Who, its becomming clearer and clearer, really does need that sleep for-mentioned)http://members.rogers.com/eelvish/Boycott-RIAA.gif]"A musician without the RIAA, is like a fish without a bicycle."[/font://http://members.rogers.com/eelvish/B...cle."[/b][/font
