FSAvionics Garmin 530/430

Dear Avsim, I'm wondering if you might be able to help me; I haven't found any help on the other forums. (PLEASE PASS ALONG TO APPROPRIATE PERSON, IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO HELP; I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!)OK, here is my situation:I just recently downloaded and installed the FSAvionics Garmin 430 and Garmin 530 GPS emulators from Avsim. (I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE FOR FREE NOW!) I also installed the Garmin Trainer from Garmin per the installation instructions. Anyway, when I attempt to actually use either of the emulators from within FS2002, both the right and left knobs are not working properly. Usually, when you place your cursor over any functioning knob or button, a little white "hand" (icon) appears. However, when I place my curser over the Garmin GPS knobs, it doesn't give me a little white "hand", but rather, a tiny blue or red square. For example, if I hit the "Direct-To" button (which does work correctly), and attempt to cycle through the alphabet using the right knob to bring up some airport identifier, I can't do it, because I'm not given a little white hand. Instead, there's this tiny blue box. Really wierd! When I open up the Garmin Trainer (which works as a stand alone program if you just want to practice using the GPS), everything works just fine. I don't understand why it won't work properly within MSFS2002. Any help you (or someone you can pass this along to) would be great. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!Regards, Chris KleinReal Air Ambulance Pilot (PC-12)Mayo ClinicRochester, MN
