A couple of years ago I marked that files were my primary reason for coming here on an old survey. I must now confess I come to read the articles. I know, I know... "I just want it for the articles." But in this particular case it has become true. So fret not that your articles are not being read. *grin*

It is said that confession is good for the soul in which case I will make a similar confession to yours. In the early days of FS98 I would download files from Avsim as if there was no tomorrow. Nowadays however I am far more selective only downloading one or two special freeware utilities.As for articles, the recent set of articles by Steve (Bearracing) Cartwright, Tribute to FS2002, spring to mind. I think the way he managed to gather such much diverse material and present it in an eminently readable form is proof of his journalist skill. Being a Wrinkly and thus old enough to have memories of World War II, I have done some considerable reading on the subject. Nevertheless I found within the Tribute some insights on the events of those times of which I had been previously unaware.Denis. The Ancient Brit.
