September 27, 200223 yr Hi Geofa and James,Nice job on the VC update for your Debonair! I seem to be missing the HSI though. I believe there was a patch for it on the original upload, but can't seem to find it. Wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction.Dave
September 27, 200223 yr I believe this is what you're looking for:http://ftp.avsim.com/library/sendfile.php?DownloadID=15804 -
September 27, 200223 yr Hey Dave,Whatever you do, don't look at that guy in the rear left seat of the Deb. ;-) :-coolRegards,http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jsnyder99/sigs/deb.jpg | [LINK:www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?photographersearch=Jeffrey%20L.%20Snyder&distinct_entry=true|AIRLINERS.NET PHOTOS] [link:www.biblegateway.com/bgaudio/english/NIV/Max%20McLean/RM/bgaudio.pl?selection=1|AUDIO BIBLE] ] [email protected][/font
September 27, 200223 yr I got your aircraft and its great!!! but there is a black stripe on the right wing, right next to the fuselage. I was wondering if you could tell me how to fix this?
September 27, 200223 yr Author That is where the passengers get on board and is black...If I am not mistaken on the fs version it is made from a photograph texture even!http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
September 28, 200223 yr Dave - Did you get this problem fixed? I am having the same problem after installing the VC update. I have "theb33patch" which I previously installed, but I'm afraid if I resinstall that panel.cfg file I will mess up the VC panel cfg. Would appreciate any info on how you solved the problem. Thanks, Steve J.
September 28, 200223 yr Author What you want to do manually is place the .cab gauge file in your gauge folder-then open the panel.cfg file. Look for the two refererences to the hsi and change them to the .cab file.Hope that helps.http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
September 28, 200223 yr Thanks Geof. I guess I really have screwed something up in unzipping the Deb cab file into my GAUGES folder. Now, along with all of the gauges, I have 3 folders, a 640, 1040 and patch folder (with Deb zip file). Not sure what I've done wrong. Perhaps I should start over, or is it salvagable? Thanks, Steve J.
September 28, 200223 yr Author The vc file should have the right panel.cfg so I think I would:deinstall and erase the b33 folder.Run the install program-select a standard install.Get "the patch"-only copy the new cab file to your gauge folderGet the autopilot patch (gauge) and copy it to your gauge folderthen..follow the instructions for the vc upgradeThis probably will take the shortest amount of time and get results.Ihave to work the rest of the night but maybe James or another user can help if you still have troubles.http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
