October 5, 200223 yr I just added "Southwest" to ATC and I am experiencing program hangups when running FS2K2. Has anyone else experienced this problem and have you found a solution? At first I thought the problem was related to only Southwest aircraft, but not so. I even tried letting FS2K2 recreate a new FS2002.cfg file, but that did not solve the problem. Up until the hangups, the Southwest ATC appears to work OK. Any help or suggestions appreciated.Airbus Al Kaupa Digital Storm purchased 8/17/2011; Win7x64: Asus P8P67 Deluxe; Intel i7 2600K@3,9 GHZ; nVidia GTX 560Ti; 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator; Power Corsair HX 750W; Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD; 300GB WD VelociRaptor; 1TB Seagate.
October 5, 200223 yr Now you are not saying HOW you added Southwest, which can make it hard to reply. :)If you used EditVoicepack (2.0 is the newest, if you have 1.0 upgrade to 2.0) try to defrag. Not that your system should hang without it (I have never heard of that), however it can fix some stutters.
October 6, 200223 yr I went back to my original GVP, but not sure that solved the problem yet. Looks like one Southwest aircraft that I try to load may be the cause of the problem. Sometimes it loads and sometimes not! I am going to continue to troubleshoot. I will also get the latest editvoicepack. Thanks for your help!Airbus Al Kaupa Digital Storm purchased 8/17/2011; Win7x64: Asus P8P67 Deluxe; Intel i7 2600K@3,9 GHZ; nVidia GTX 560Ti; 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator; Power Corsair HX 750W; Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD; 300GB WD VelociRaptor; 1TB Seagate.
