Does anyone know how to reset the external walk around view after completing a flight? It stays glued to the original startup location and it'd be cool to be able to deplane and look and all the damage I usually inflict on my landing gear upon landing :) "Flaring to land is like squatting to pee" -Carrier Pilot Quote

This works for me, make sure you have both internal and external checked and then use the number pad to move. I get refresh problems now and then and some flickering, hopefully there will be an update for this, otherwise is very cool!Regards, Michael

I'm cool with walking around with the number pad, isn't this the wildest addon ever. What I meant by my original post was that the external view is fixed in the immediate vicinity of your aircraft. You can certainly walk around and have a good old time but once you take off and fly cross country your external view is still back at the departure airport. It seems to use the same logic as the tower view in FS2002 in that regard. I was wondering how to reconcile the external view back to the new locale(s) of the aircraft after flying away from the initial flight startup point. I wonder if changing the tower position would effect this? Any other ppls found any work arounds? Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing. When I climb into my plane. I want to go with the plane, not be left behind on the tarmac.

Uncheck it, when you are done walking around, just uncheck the external option and it will stay in the interior VC mode, least it does for me. I know what you are saying, I had a flight and then when I hit the VC, I was back at the airport on the ground!!?? LOL Imagine what a leap this is, the ability to go to your aircraft, walk around and then fly off, very cool, I hope this gets perfected!Michael
