Thanks for the reply Francois. I think I figured it out....Im pretty sure that I left my antivirus software running when I installed FS again tonight. I just uninstalled (which took disabling the software) and then installed again while keeping the AV software disabled and things seem fine. Its definitely the first time Ive ever encountered that problem.CraigEDIT: By the way...Iowa looks boring, but not THAT boring!!! :-lol

Hello Craig and Francois,I haven't seen it before, but on occasions (particularlyon eastbound tranatlantic flights) there have been non-critical messages about sceneryfiles missing, but itcontinued anyway. jerrycwo4Loaded an aircraft where you could get the instruments to show up like that if you wanted them to, for landing visability. I think it was on a P-38 or P-51.Jerry
