ActiveSky and incorrect metric visibility

Featured Replies

ActiveSky seems to have problems with visibility reported in meters. Once it showed 1/16 mile visibility when 9999 m was reported, and once it showed 20 miles with the same reported visibility.Just wanted to point that out. :-)Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Hi Martin,Thanks for pointing this out. Until now I was not aware! Can you please let me know the details of the metric visibility report data item? Or where I can find this on the internet? Or at least a METAR station with a metric visibility report for example? I am having trouble finding any of this... Thanks!-Damian

Awesome, Damian!Any idea if we'll see a more realistic winds aloft simulation soon? :-)Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Damian, great program but on the 1.3 version I crash my windows system as soon as FS starts loading up and I open up active sky. I go back to the 1.2 version and all is fine.Specs are Windows2000 Pro SP31 Gig ram - Nvidia Ti4600

No problems here Damian. Thanks for your continued work on this project.
