Help configuring brakes?

Hi folks.I have a CH Yoke and Pro Pedals (all USB) and have a question. Last night I was trying to disable the pedal toe brakes and either move it to a single brake (just one toe) or to a button on the yoke. Reason being is using the left/right brakes I can never get the plane slowed down in a straight manner, I always end up shooting all over the runway when trying to slow down. Looks silly and is annoying.The problem is, when I removed the binding to my pedals and tried to bind the brakes to a button on my yoke, it didn't work. The brakes couldn't be activated either by the keyboard (.) or by the yoke button. Tried for about half an hour to configure it correctly but couldn't get it to go.Anyone have any ideas how this might be possible?Thanks.

I'm not sure of the configuration required to do what you're describing, but let me add my opinion anyway ;-). I had the problem you mention when I was first getting used to my pedals, but I learned after a while to coordinate my feet better. I can now stop in a fairly straight line without thinking about it. I'm sure in a real GA aircraft with toe brakes you'd have to learn this same skill, so I consider it to be fairly realistic. Just a thought, but you might try practicing a little -- you could be surprised at how fast you learn how to brake smoothly!

Yeah, that's the problem, I can't apply them evenly. It's not a problem with the sim, it's me. I do need to practice :)

I also had the same problems you mention, but I am having more problems with the sensivity settings of the rudders and toe brakes. I also use FSUIPC and have tried several ways. I am aware that on an airport you can have crosswinds when taxiing, but I am having trouble with smooth adjustments.Are there any recommendations for settings about toe brakes and rudder in fs2002.cfg and fsuipc.cfg?Regards, Ferry
