October 13, 200223 yr I have read that an advantage of using fsuipc for joystick calibration is that there can be a non-linear response curve where the joystick response is less near the center and then increases. Thus, a more realistic "feel" and no null zone. The documentation talks about "advanced settings," but I cannot find that page in the current version of fsuipc (no advanced button).Any help in using this feature would be appreciated, as well as comments on the advantage of this non-linear approach. Thanks! Tom
October 14, 200223 yr Author Just had a very quick scan through the docs for FSUIPC and can see no mention of a none-linear setting but I may have missed it.Joystick settings are made in the 'joystick' tab of FSUIPC and the reference to 'advanced setings' may relate to the advanced user doc which is icluded in the package. If you can stil find no reference to this none-linear setting there is a joystick centering utility that does allow such a setting.Check out Bob 'sticky' Church's sitehttp://home.att.net/~stickworks/HTH
