Taxi Speed

Featured Replies

Need help in increasing the taxi speed for the AI aircraft.I installed the taxi speed exe file in my C drive. I believe I should have installed it in my FS2002 folder which is in my D drive. I opened up the file in C drive and it indicated that the taxispeed had been changed successfully, but when I checked FS2002 taxi speed remained the same approx. 5 knots.I then copied the taxispeed file into fs2002 folder but instead of getting successful, I receive runtime 76 Error path not found. It appears I am missing a file which is likely in my Win. system folder. Any help would be appreciated.Kenny G.

Kenny --I can't help you out with your problem, but what is this taxispeed program that you mention?Clear skies

I use the program AI Speed Ver 1.1. AI Speed must be set while FS2K2 is running and is NOT permanent (so you can tweak the speeds). AI Speed Patch is executed without FS2K2 running and settings made here are permanent. I hope this helps.Jim

Hi JimTks. for the info can you direct me to the site where I can download this program so that I can set the taxi speed for the AI aircraft.Kenny G.

Is there anything available that will get them off the runway sooner. They land and just sit there. It's agrivating to have to go around two or three times.

It's available here at AVSIM. AI Speed by Andy Robinson. This will help them get off the runway sooner as well.-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
