Mexican Airports by FlyMex - opinions ?

Featured Replies

FlyMex will be releasing their Mexican Airports 2 in a few days but I wonder if anyone had experience with their products and specifically about their previous Mexican Airports 1. Could not find any formal review of this pckage (on Avsim). Thanks.Michael J.

Hi,Flymex products aren't very popular amongst the Mexican flight simming community. I have some of their old scenery packages but have been reluctant to buy their new stuff.A new, complete collection of mexican airports has just come out. In my opinion it is overpriced, but does cover every bit of mexican airspace. It also includes MDT LOD9 (Mexican Detailed Terrain) which is an extremely set of elevation and terrain data. This scenery package came out just last week and I haven't seen too many reviews out. There have been some positive comments and great overall performance concerning these other airports. You can check out some screen shots over at http://www.pilotmx.com/vans/ and http://usuarios.lycos.es/hispamex/phpBB2/v...23df03f458325acRegards,Alejandro Velasco

Alejandro,>In my opinion it is overpriced, but does cover >every bit of mexican airspace.Could you elaborate ? $35 for 35 airports does sound like a good deal for me unless the airport are poorly done.>comments and great overall performance concerning these >other airports. Not sure what you mean. Poor computer performance ? And if so is this only with version 1 or is it also with 2 (this one is supposed to be G-Max).Thanks.Michael J.
