I'm thinking about buying FS Flightmax...I downloaded the demo version when it was first released, and it bought my system to its knees.Since then I've upgraded to a new system - XP1800, 512MB RAM, GF3 Ti500 - How well will Flightmax run on my new system? How much of a framerate hit are Flightmax users seeing?I've also been using FSMeteo for almost 2 years now, and if I get Flightmax I'll upgrade to FSMeteo 5.2. How well does the weather radar work with FSMeteo?Cheers.

I run FS FlightMax on my 1.2 Ghz, 384 Mb RAM system and do not have a problem at all with it. I have no noticeable frame rate hit with Flightmax.P4 1.7 64mgGF2Pro 512 Rambus DramPeter Sydney Australia

You got a lot more horsepower than I do and I haven't noticed a problem with Flightmax. No drop in FRs.

Thanks guys. I installed the demo version again and it runs fine.My old system was an Athlon 1Ghz, 384MB RAM and a V5 5500. I think the culprit was the V5. It didn't like displaying docked windows, and the framerate would plummet with FSFlightmax.I took the plunge and purchased it, as well as upgrading my old copy of FSMeteo to 5.2...Just in time for the very nasty storms that are just hitting the UK :-)
