October 30, 200223 yr I'm having a problem with the Project Opensky 767's sinking into the runway on touchdown.Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks Jason
October 30, 200223 yr This has to do with in-proper flattening settings within FS2k2. This is more common in add-on sceneries, but has been reported in a few cases at default M$ airports. The errors in flattening lead to invisible holes in the ground and runways, leading to the gear collaspses. Not really much POSKY can do about it I'm afriad, as it's an FS2k2 issue.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com|Taxiwaysigns.com] Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 41.03 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click [link:ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=&Author=Ryan+Fretwell&CatID=Root]Here to Download my New American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!
October 30, 200223 yr Thanks for the quick response. If this is the case, then why do other opensky planes and all other aircraft that I have downloaded not do the same? Its happening at KONT. Thanks Jason
October 30, 200223 yr I have the POSKY 767 300ER Qantas livery. This plane only sinks into the runway, when my landing was too hard, so that it would have crashed in real live. So, maybe al little practicing of proper landings would solve your problem. :-)Wolfgang
October 30, 200223 yr I'm having the same problem as the author, i.e. the plane sinks into the runway just by loading it. I have mnaged to load and land it a few times but it is VERY touchy, much more so than any other plane I've flown recently.
October 30, 200223 yr I had the same problem with some specific airports, always when I'm taxiing to the gates after landing... Rome, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto and Auckland. Funny though, it happens only with my POSKY 767 and never with FS2002 default aircraft.
