Sink Through fix-geared planes

Featured Replies

Hi AllI have noticed that many of the fix-geared planes that arrive have a sink through bug. Its especially "Otters", ("twin Otters"), "beavers" etc.If in the ait you hit the "G" button, the gear-up sound starts whining. If you then take a external look nothing happens. But if you land now you will sink through. If you don't hit "G" or hit it twice, you will not sink !!!!Anyone know how to fix that bug ?? RegardsHenrik KorningBGGH

Start FSEdit (default installed in your main FS2002 directory). Choose the aircraft you want to fix. Go to Flight Dynamics. Choose the Gear tab. You see a Point Selector. You have to change the Point.0 Point.1 and Point.2Select the first point and look in the lower right corner where it says Extension Time and Retraction Time. Change the value 5 into 0.Do the same with point.1 and point.2 and save. When you cannot edit the aircraft (Read Only mode), you have to change a line in the aircraft.cfg first. The line "editable=0" should be "editable=1"Hope this helps.Jozef Kusters http://httpd.chello.nl/~j-kusters/logo.gif [link:Ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Tradewind/"]Visit TCA TradeWind ][/font
