Has anyone considered making simple AI aircraft with GMAX or something to replace the repetitious c172s and c208s?just curious if someone has done anything, and if maybe that would be a good frame rate fixers with simple AI planes and air files?

How about just replacing them with some of the others in your hangar ? I've got several of the default GA AI planes replaced by others (C150, Beaver, Duck and Goose) which does make plane spotting at most of the airports more interesting.Simply replace the entries in the aircraft.cfg file (using Traffic Tools of course) for (for example) the default C182 Paint 2.

yeah, I've done that, but I was hoping there might be some simple gmax models for AI, things that are really frame rate friendly so all of us still running under 1Ghz can still play with traffic
