November 8, 200223 yr Why is it when at say FL370, when FS Meteo updates the weather, all of a sudden my altitude readout changes by over a 1000 feet = or - and the autopilot must compensate for it? The altimeter never changes? Very strange. Anyone else experience this with FS Meteo? Eric
November 9, 200223 yr Your altimeter registers no changes? Try setting QNH Transition rate to '100'. Also, there are settings in FSUIPC that control how fast pressure changes occur. I set them for the slowest possible changes. You do get some altimeter fluctuations, but generally the plane, I use DF734, will compensate fairly smoothly. Hope this is useful to you.Good luck, Adam
November 9, 200223 yr That's just it guys, at FL370, I don't want to hit "B". Above FL180, it should stay at 29.92 (QNH 1013). Also when using FSMeteo, the pressure change feature of FSUIPC is grayed out and not useable. My aircrafts altitude readout just jumps +/- 1000' everytime the weather updates by itself, then the A/P must compensate for it. Eric
November 9, 200223 yr Check the QNH transition rate in FSMeteo preferences, it overrides FSUIPC pressure change option when running...---All the BestKaty Pluta
