July 19, 200718 yr This is meant primarily in jest, but I want to respectfully correct the author of the above-mentioned article. At Boeing, at least in my area, where we've been working on rudders and other parts of the first couple of shipsets, we affectionately refer to the aircraft as the "plastic plane", given the abundance of composite materials used in its construction.
