November 2, 200223 yr I currently have 23.11 installed for my GeForce 3 Ti200 / 64M card (using WinXP). I note at guru3d.com that the latest appear to be 41.03. Before I go to the trouble of changing drivers, can anyone confirm that it's worth the change up to new drivers for the G3? I'm wondering if most of the benefits in the 4x.xx series is for the G4 cards? Thanks for any insight,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
November 3, 200223 yr Bruce,It a crap shoot to try and guess whether your system will be helped. Most of the improvement on the later drivers are for the GeForce 4's. Have you visited the WinXP update site, 30.87's are available for download and install. I am running them on a VisionTek GeForce 2Ti 200 64MB DDR and a VisionTek GeForce 3Ti 200 64MB DDR and didn't see any difference in performance.Of course, I don't go in and tweak the card either! November 3, 200223 yr I would say you wouldn't see big change in Direct X games, but 30.82 Official WHQL Certified driverwill give you HUGE speed improvment in Open GL even when compared to 29.XXso if you use any OpenGL games and you are unhappy with speed you might wanna give 30.82 that is avaiable from www.nvidia.com a try.
