I have the CH ProPedals and recently I need to take the back off to give them a good clean - full of dust and other unmentionables. There are two large springs connected to a centre piece and I am not sure where the other end of them is supposed to connect. I have connected them to two large standoffs on the bottom of the casing and while the pedals move they do not auto-return to centre. Has any one else tried this or am I the only stupid one :)--qnh

Hmmm, I get to answer my own question :)Don't overtighten the screws holding the base on. I loosened them a little and found the centre with no problems. Started FS2K2 and then went to FSUIPC joysticks section and by adjusting the torque on the outer 4 screws I was able to achieve a pretty steady rudder - something I have been seeking for a long time now.Hope this helps someone else.--qnh
