August 7, 200322 yr The Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 is the best bang for the buck, under $200If you want better you can get ATI 9700 or 9800 non pros for around $300.
August 12, 200322 yr Thank you But som of my friend told me that fs has problem with this graphic card!?Touradg
August 14, 200322 yr I've read posts having problems with the ATI cards as well...it's a touch call but I've had much better luck with Nvidia
August 14, 200322 yr If you want a card that'll handle the graphics in this sim, get either a 9700 Pro or a 9800 Pro. No two ways about it. There is no other card that can deliver both good quality graphics and good framerates.
August 14, 200322 yr What convinces me more than anything else in this Radeon-Nvidia debate is the fact that apparently FX5900 attempts to AA alpha textures. Not sure whether it is good or bad but apparently in the FS it means AA of clouds which is a no-no. Big waste of computing resources on something that gives you no visual advantage.
