ONE BIG TIP!!!

Greetings!!If your board supports 4-N-1 drivers, reinstall or upgrade them AFTER you install new video drivers. They also control the AGP!! PLEASE!!!Thanks

Does the same apply to Pentium chipsets too? Thanks,Bruce.

Only VIA chipsets have this. A lot of Athlon boards have VIA chipsets inside, but i'm not sure about the Intel boards.

I've not had a problem updating the video drivers that caused the VIA driver's to need reinstalled. Not that it couldn't happen, but the files are different and shouldn't be overwriting one another. However, I often recommend reinstalling both VIA drivers (More correctly reinstalling MOBO controller chip drivers) and graphics adapter drivers to fix apparent problems.W.
