I am currently running the following setup Intel P4 2.53 clocked to 2.8 Nvidia TI4600 Card using 1Gig DDR RAM 333. I am looking to upgrade to max out FS9 setting which component will I get the best bang for my buck. The CPU to 3.0Ghz or a Nvidia FX5900?ThanksAndrew.

I would go with the NVIDIA FX5900. It's going to give you better visuals and some FPS in FS too. FS is CPU intensive though, but I think that your 2.53 at 2.8 could handle it just as well as a 3.06.That's my opinion.

Yeah I totally agree with Eric !Upgrading your CPU is a total waste of money... better save it untill the P5 is released.. your CPU will handle FS perfectly in combination with a good graphic card :-waveshocky :-hah"I got the answer, now I only need the question" :-hah

It might be worth your time to go to Roy Chaffin's web site and see what his experience was with the 5900. He sent his back. Scroll down the page to his input near the beginning of August.
