Hey Guys,I am pulling my hair out here so I thought I'd ask the gurus here :) a month ago, I had a system crash that forced me to do a format and reinstall.I decided to take the opportunity to upgrade to DDR memory (kept the same amount - 512 Mb.)The rest of the system is as follows : - AMD Athlon XP 1800 - WD 80GB Hard Drive - NVidia 4200Ti w/ 128MB - ECS Motherboard w/ VIA chipsetSoftware : Win XP SP1 with all patches installed.NVidia Driver Software is 45.23If you need any further info, please ask.Prior to the crash, was consistently getting 30+FPS in FS9. Now I am getting 0 - 3 fps. Any help appreciated :)B

Update !I just made sure that the VIA chipset drivers are installed and updated. This still has not resolved the problem. I would like to also add that I noticed while troubleshooting tonight that if I ran FS without a joystick, the frame rate stayed consistent at around 10-16 fps. As soon as the joystick was added, framerates dropped to 0 - 2BP.S. Joystick is a Force Feedback Pro 1 from MS.

This is kind of a shot in the dark but is your joystick connected to a USB port or a gameport? If it's a gameport is it on your sound card or integrated in the motherboard? If it's on the soundcard it may be a driver issue.Sorry that may not be much help but it's the only thing I can think of.Mike Bromley
