Hello all.....must do a 90 day post or else. I'm thinking of getting a ATI 9800 pro..maybe xt. Shush!!!! Don't tell the wife!!!! I've gone from a diamond 4 mg on a 100hz PI, to voodoo daughter , to voodoo bangie, to the geforce line. (with system chages along the way) Anyone else out there a video card upgradeaholic?? Hi Gregg,I went from a Ti 4600 to a 9700 Pro last spring and was astounded by the incease in performance... both IQ and, to a lesser extent, FPS.The best ATI drivers for FS9 are the CAT 3.9 or 3.10. Another choice is the Omega drivers. They are CAT drivers optimized for IQ rather than raw speed, but what they give up in performance is worth it to some folks. I use the Omega's... quite happy with them.My apologies in advance to your wife, :-)

Thanks guys for the in put... Got it today at compusa. Gained 3500 on 3d mark 2001 going from a GEFORCE 4600Ti to a ATI 9800 xt. The performance on fs9....just beautiful. I have done a couple of fights with everything on the card and game maxed.. AA 6 and AF 16...just a wonderful result. Just tried some thunderstorm settings. F/S and quality is holding....upper 20's at Kphl with all the clouds and rain coming in. Swweeeeeeet. The increase of being able to set AF to 16 is just wonderful. Time to Fly!!!!!!!!
