I have a very low budget for new video hardware for my system. my local Staples has the PNY Verto GForce 5200 and the ATI Radeon 9200 for the same price.... $99.99. of the two which should I chose? By the way I'm still running Win 98 so drivers may be an issue for the GForce card.Brian

Brian,Reading the web, it seems the FX5200 is about as good as the GF 400MX series, which would make it a waste of money. The only benefit would be that the FX5200 was DX9 capable, but how many apps are using DX9 on your machine? I don't think Win98 will be a problem with either card. I run a dual boot Win98/WinXP Pro systems with several different GF 3/4 Series cards and haven't had a problem with drivers.Don't have any feel for the ATI card.Have you searched www.pricewatch.com for other cards?W.
