Hello friends, Im going to spend some

hey,well..as you asked the question i assume that you know that they both play a crucial part in games. You cant upgrade to an ATi x800 and just keep the cpu the same...and vice versa...anyways...

>>>Why not?Well you can, but you will not get top performance from the X800 because of the weak CPU.>>>I have heard otherwise, that you really don't need AGP 8x.>That is true for now, existing games don't use the bandwidth of AGP8X.- Oyvind

exactly like Oyvind said,1.You wont get a major increase in speed if you only upgrade to the best graphics card or to the best processor ;) its because both are major limiting factors ;) one holds the other down.2.Well...im guessing you have to think ahead too....with new games like Far Cry and Half Life im sure there is a use of 8xAGP...i think.dario
