Verto Ti 4200 8x AGP - DirectX 9?

Featured Replies

The Ti 4200 supports DirectX 8. FS9 graphics require only DirectX 8 GPU's. FS9 needs DirectX 9 only for multiplayer.Greg

I don't know if it full supports DX 9, but I have running, the 61.77 drivers and DX 9.0C and the card works perfectly.

Hi Kurt - Thanks for the info.I see you have a system like mine - have you considered upgrading your processor? Also, what kind of performance do you get?(If you can suggest a way we could compare performance - can I post a saved flight somehow? - this might be pretty informative)And I'm wondering, too, if XP Pro would make much/any difference over 98SE.Cheers,Andrew

Andrew - I have considered but for the cost of getting a PIII @ 1 GHZ, I might as well save my money and wait till I can get a new one, which I am possibly going to around X-Mas time. For comparing performance, send me an email and I will think of something, email addy is "[email protected]" without the quotes, I too ran 98SE, switched to XP, I was impressed, then once I went from 256MB of ram to 512MB, it really went fast, and then I tweaked windows a fair amount, and it runs very well, and with SP2 even a bit faster, so send me an email and I will think of someway to compare.
