October 8, 200421 yr Hi all, I dont know what happened but I was getting with NVidia's newest drivers from their website 60-70 frames at KSAN with my new rig. However when I uninstalled the display drivers and went to next low set of drivers from Nvidia's archieve section my frames went from 20-30 frames at KSAN. What the heck happened. Well I uninstalled those driver and isntalled the ones I had originally and I get the same frames...20-50 this time around. Plus the frames are not very stable just sitting on the ramp. The numbers are fluctuating from 20 to 50 very fast just sitting there....so uninstalled FS9 thinkning that there might be something messued up in the FS2004 config file....any ideas? I might have to reformat my machine to get the frames that I had before again...its not a big deal since I just bult my PC two weeks ago.Anyone have any information on this? My specs are on my sig.Thank Agian,Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

October 8, 200421 yr Thats very odd about the large difference in the change, but it could be that your running at like 50FPS, why not just lock it at 25 or 30, and it will be perfectly smooth?
October 8, 200421 yr Author I usually lock the frames at 30 when using it, but just to see what the max the computer would give me I set it to unlimited for the time being and noticed the drop in frames from 60-70 to 20-30 like my old Geforce 3 on my older machine...man this sucks...Thanks,Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
October 9, 200421 yr It sounds somewhat like a driver conflict, like the previous ones you used didnt get fully uninstalled and then you installed new ones and now its got a conflict, the only thing I would try would be to, uninstall all NVIDIA drivers then try go through and clean up all traces of any NVIDIA drivers/files related to the graphics card.
