November 28, 200421 yr I need advice on the best video card to upgrade a Dell Dimension 2350 with 2GHz Celeron, 512MB memory which uses the built-in Intel Extreme Graphics. It has to be PCI because only PCI slots are available. I get about 15-18 fps with UK VFR Photographic Scenery and VFR Terrain and would like better frame rates.Helpful answers please - don't tell me I shouldn't have bought Dell or to build a new pc! November 29, 200421 yr You need to be careful when upgrading a video card that your system is capable of handling the card. I do not think that your system, which is on the low end, can handle the latest video cards on the market. I have a Dell XPS Pentium IV with 3 GHZ and 1024 MB of RAM. It came with a ATI 9800 Pro 128 MB graphics card. If you call Dell they will tell you what is the maximum in video cards for your system. This is the safest way to proceed. Stanner
