Ground Texture Problems with X800 and FS9

Hi all, I recently acquired a custom built system (P4 3.0GHz, 1gig DDR Ram, MSI motherboard, ATI X800) specifically for FS9. However, after much trial and error with the display settings and trying different drivers, I have a problem with the ground textures that cannot seem to disappear. (BTW I tried a search on this topic but to no avail). (All sceney textures are default BTW). All other textures (buildings, aircraft, scenery, etc) are fine, but the ground textures are light blue close to the aircraft.(Almost watery in a sense). It is even more pronounced in areas close by the sea. I have tried a reinstall of FS9 but to no avail. Currently, I have the 4.9 ATI drivers installed. Other than that, the sim runs like a dream. Any recommendations as to driver display settings or FS9 settings would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advanceJ.C. (MYNN)
