Dual VideoCards for FS9

Featured Replies

Hi gurus!I just purchased my dream machine:Dell XPS 6003.8ghz2 GeForce 7800GTX's in SLI2G Ram320G HD.I wonder if anyone can tell me if FS9 can even use both my video cards or is that something to wait until FSX for?In spite of the blistering speed of this beast compared to the last one, I'm surprised that I'm not getting the incredible performance gain I expected. But that's the same gripe everyone else has I'm sure.;-)Any answers would be appreciated.:-)

Hello,I use 2 video cards (see my sign) FS9 "sees" the GF TI4600 but not the FX 5200.I did "force" the information in the FS9.cfg file and now I can change the resolution on the 3rd monitor, see below my enties*DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 by TweaksRUs.0*Mode=1600x1200x32*DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 by TweaksRUs.1*Mode=1152x864x32PanelAsTexture=0TextureAGP=0*DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 by TweaksRUs.2*Mode=1152x864x32PanelAsTexture=0TextureAGP=0The * stands for the open / close brakets as these are not accepted in this forum. But in FS9 option/display/hardware only 2 entries are available.Hope it helps
