February 18, 200719 yr Hi!I recently bought a new soundcard : a Hercules Muse 5.1 DVD.The problem is that as soons as I use the microphone, there is a disturbing background noise. I tried to change the settings via the mixer panel, but there's nothing to do.It's really annoying since I can't fly online, because other pilots and ATC don't manage to understand clearly what I say.Does anyone have an idea about how to solve this problem?Thanks very much for your help!
February 19, 200719 yr More than likely it's a driver issue.
