my computer shuts off randomly

Featured Replies

Its very wierd, when i have it off, it will take maybe like 4 to 8 times before it finally stays on for about 3-5 days straight, then it shuts off, i have checked temps, etcI think its the power supply going bad, but this is my questionif your still getting good voltage reading from your ps, could that still be the culprit?thanksciao!Brian S

Yep. Most likely a PS issue.

Most likely that your PSU is dying (or overvolting your system), however this might also be of some use if turns out not to be your PSU. (That is if you are still on XP)http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/shtdwnxp.htm
