Hi everyone,I've owned a Dell P4 3.0 Ghz Dimension 8300 since back in 2002/3 (can't remember exactly when!). To say this trusty machine has lasted me would be an understatement. Aside from two upgrades in the last 4 years, its the same as it was when I bought it, and it still does a #### fine job of running FS2004, and the odd other game I occasionally play (Half Life 2/F.E.A.R. style shooters). Hi Al, FS9 alone or FSX too? Also, which display(s)/resolution(s) is your display adapter currently driving? Display upgrade plans maybe? I doubt you'll see a huge improvement in FS9 with a X1950/512MB. OTOH, you might be able to crank up AA/AF a bit? FWIW, I've never seen a single FS9-view use more than 180MB VGA with everything maxxed. Hope this adds to thoughts, kind regards Jaap
