Hey All:OK, I am just about on for an E6600, but I wonder how it can benchmark SO much faster than the E6400. The extremetech website shows the 6600 doing 130 fps versus the 6400 doing 80 in high resolution. How can this be? Kaydub

Could be because the E6600 has 4MB cache vs E6400's 2MB cache.

No, the cache has nothing to do with it (at least not with raw speed), the reason why stock the 66 is faster is simply because its clocked higher, thus giving a higher CPU bench score.
