I am saving for Viewsonic VP2130P, its not wide and it's supposed to have the best pic in the class!

Hi Hugo,Well their just isn't a perfect FS monitor. Users may like this or that one, but each person has a different set of eyes and so perceives colors differently.The above mentioned Viewsonics are good screens, but ideally what you want is to have a screen that correctly shows white as white, and black as black. When those colors look good, you can be pretty sure the range in between is also in good shape.ALSO,.Avoid TN panels, and try to get an 8bit screen not 6bit.Some "faster" screens end up sacrificing color depth for speed.It can be hard to find a fast enough 8bit display and many manufacturers don't promote the panels color depth so you'd likely have to ask for that yourself.Difference between 8 and 6 bit is, that 6bit uses dithering to make up for showing less colors. With a standard VGA cable the dithering seems to look ok, but with DVI during dusk and dawn, it can start to look patchy/squary sometimes.So quick and easy is just to buy any of the above, but If you rather want a very good allrounder, and in turn get a really good monitor, follow the latter.Regards,

No problems Hugo,Just take your time, and really go for a monitor that suits you.Not saying other replies, and reviews aren't good, but do take your time, as getting a "bad for you" display, is an easy purchase without proper research, so many screens on the market.Reagards,
