November 26, 200718 yr I am looking at buying an AGP version of this card. It is one bulky piece of hardware for sure.Question is : would anybody know whether the size (read: length) is the same with all manufacturers ? I am fairly sure I would need to move my hard drives to accomodate this monster. But it would help if I knew that eg. the HSI version is shorter than the Sapphire version.I would settle for any flavour as they are getting hard to get (except on eBay) :-)Thanks
November 26, 200718 yr Hi Br,The 1950s whether its the AGP or PCIe's, they are all around 25-26cm / 9-10inch long.Just keep in mind, that depending what version you get, you either have single, or dual slot cooling. Just a heads-up Thickness-wise.Hope that helps,Regards,
November 27, 200718 yr Author Thanks. Dual-slot cooling is not a problem. I can accomodate that. It is just the length that worries me.Thanks Davis
November 28, 200718 yr As long as it fits in the AGP slot it's fine. It's a problem if its bulk protrudes to other parts of the motherboard. Getting a large case usually helps.Regards Regards, BoeingGuy ASUS P5E X38 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz on 1600 MHz FSB (400x8) | 4 GB DDR2-800 RAM | EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked @ 679/979 | 320 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 RPM HD
